As a Team Member - Greeter at Buffalo Wild Wings, your primary role is to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for guests as they arrive. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and engaging experience from the moment they enter the restaurant.

Core Job Functions and Responsibilities

Guest Engagement:

• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor.
• Manage the seating process efficiently, balancing guest flow and wait times.
• Provide information about promotions, menu items, and restaurant specials.
• Answer guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.
• Ensure guests feel valued by engaging in polite conversation and addressing their needs.

Front of House (FOH) Support:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the entrance and waiting areas.
• Assist with keeping the host stand and lobby stocked with necessary supplies.
• Communicate with the serving staff to optimize table turnover and efficiency.
• Coordinate with team members to manage guest reservations and seating charts.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Follow Buffalo Wild Wings' service guidelines and hospitality standards.
• Monitor restaurant flow and provide real-time updates to guests on wait times.
• Assist in handling takeout orders and ensuring accuracy in packaging.
• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with servers and management to provide seamless service.
• Assist with training new team members to uphold service expectations.
• Support staff during busy periods by managing guest interactions effectively.

Sales and Guest Retention:

• Encourage guests to participate in loyalty programs and promotions.
• Enhance guest experience by suggesting popular menu items.
• Collect guest feedback and communicate concerns to management for improvement.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift and carry items up to 20 lbs.
• Maintain a professional and energetic presence throughout the shift.
