Buffalo Wild Wings is hiring for Assistant Hospitality Manager

Responsibilities of the Assistant Hospitality Manager involve aiding the General Manager in overseeing the entire operation of the restaurant, which includes training, supervising, and mentoring Team Members and management to ensure flawless shift performance and customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Team Responsibilities:

  • Manages second interview procedures and organizes orientation dates for new hires.
  • Carries out orientations for new team members and oversees the completion of associated paperwork as part of the process.
  • Integrates recent hires into the Aloha and CTUIT platforms.
  • Ensures that the onboarding process is completed by all team members.
  • Establishes training regimens for incoming Team Members and delivers them during orientation.
  • Certified Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) are the only ones authorized to set training schedules.
  • Checks that all training documentation is wrapped up and documented post the sixth day.
  • Conducts daily follow-ups on training processes to verify the completion of documentation.
  • Coordinates meetings at the end of the day for training purposes with WCT and trainees.
  • On day 6, the expectation is to finalize position validation forms unless an extension is requested.
  • Those authorized to conduct position validations are specifically the Training Manager or General Manager.
  • Establishes a group of Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) to oversee training in all restaurant sections.
  • Ensures that each section of the restaurant is equipped with at least two operational wireless communication tablets.
  • Confirms that the office binder contains current and accurately stored WCT assessment documentation.
  • Performs monthly WCT meetings according to schedule.
  • Administers semiannual performance evaluations.
  • Organizes the debut of freshly introduced menus.
  • Administers ServSafe training sessions to all WCTs.

Front of House (FOH) Support Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to the company's guidelines for tipped team members in their daily operations.
  • Supervises the commencement and conclusion tasks for tipped workers.
  • Servers or bartenders must adjust their payment status to the Front of House Support minimum wage rate if they spend more than 10 minutes per hour on tasks outside their conventional tipped duties, leading them to clock out of tipped pay.

Guest Responsibilities:

  • Deals with guest complaints effectively and responds to Hot Alerts promptly.
  • Deals with guest concerns promptly and submits Guest Comment forms to the Regional Manager (RM) within the designated timeframe.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in engaging with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their experience.

Quality Operations:

  • Undertakes a comprehensive review of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) four times a year.
  • Administers orders that are not part of the McLane system.
  • Maintains standards of excellence in operational procedures.

Sales and Profits:

  • Enters all invoices into CTUIT, with a significant portion being handled automatically.
  • Directs and supervises the accounts payable procedures in CTUIT.
  • Utilizes strategic operational methods to stimulate sales and enhance profit margins.

Communication:

  • Maintains open lines of communication within the team and with leadership.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a flawless and precise execution of the training process without exceptions.
  • Guides individuals through a program to become certified trainers in wing development.
