Senior Manager - Project Delivery

And that’s the kind of work we want to bepartof!The Senior Manager, Project Delivery assigned to one or multiple specific growth investment projects isresponsiblefor planning, managing and driving investment projects through the complete project pathway (on time, within budget, meeting required quality standards). The role provides leadership to the project team(s), builds and maintains relationshipswithvendorsandcontractors. This is an engineering field role. This person will have cross interaction with validation engineers, facility management, and operations; mitigate risks and ensurecompliancewithregulationsandlegalrequirements.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans - TheCAPEXProjectLeadisresponsibleforcreating and implementing project plans that will meet theproject's objectives through the Engineering, Design, Construction, Commissioning and Qualification phases.
• Manage project budgets - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshouldensurethattheproject stays within budget and manage any changes to the budget.
• Ensure safety, quality & compliance - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshouldensurethattheproject meets the required safety and quality standards according to internal procedures and specifications as well as health authority requirements.
• Coordinate project teams - TheCAPEXProjectLeadisresponsibleforcoordinating and managing the work of project teams toensurethat everyone is working together efficiently.
• Monitor project progress - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshould regularly monitortheproject'sprogresstoensurethat it's on track and identify any potential issues.
• Ensurecompliancewith regulations - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshouldensurethattheproject follows all relevant regulationsandlegalrequirements.
• Manage project risks - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshould identify potential risks and develop strategies to manage them.
• Communicate project status - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshould communicate theproject'sprogress, status, and issues to partners, including senior management.
• Manage project resources - TheCAPEXProjectLeadisresponsibleformanaging project resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Develop andmaintainrelationshipswithvendorsandcontractors - TheCAPEXProjectLeadshould establish andmaintainrelationshipswithvendorsandcontractors to ensure they provide high-quality work and meet project timelines.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related Science subject area.
• At least 5-7 years in project engineering and project management for chemical, API, biochemical, pharmaceutical industries experience.
• Broad technical knowledge of the Various Engineering Disciplines in the API Pharmaceutical environment, both on clean and black utilities, process, automation, Instrumentation and Civil Engineering.
• Task orientated person who is very comfortable working towards set objectives and has a track record of achieving results in this regard.
• Provenexperience in cost control and scheduling related to investment projects.
• Experienceinengineering aspects of facility design to buildcompliant but cost-effective plant.
• Knowledge of modern CQV approaches to minimize the time from construction completion to routine production while maintaining compliance.
• Excellent knowledge of computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
• Good understanding of how the CDMO industry/business works.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborativeenvironmentisessential.
• Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills (English and German).
• Effective influencing skills. Abilitytocommunicate to varying levels and functions of the organization.
• Strong collaborative approach.
• Provenability to lead, mentor and coach directreports and teams with or without direct line responsibility.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to solve problems, understanding details and strategic picture, providing practical solutions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong experienceinEngineering and cGMP Manufacturing of chemical and biological APIs.
