Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to assist in the warehouse operations of a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Scope:

Multifunctional Role:
This job is a multifunctional role. Primarily, the individual will serve as a Warehouse Operator but may also be required to support other operational functions such as Packaging, Manufacturing, and Facilities Operations.
Job Description:
The Warehouse Operator performs tasks related to the receipt, maintenance, dispensing, and storage of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials in compliance with established Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The role also ensures product compliance with quality standards and operational requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
Execute receipt, dispensing, and storage of materials as per cGMP procedures.
Weigh, count, and verify materials during receipt and dispatch.
Manage dispensing activities in compliance with cGMP standards.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain online documentation in line with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
Perform status labeling for materials and equipment.
Monitor logs and areas to ensure adherence to standards during inspections.
Scrap Management:
Dispose of scrap materials to prevent blockage and ensure smooth operations.
Ensure proper segregation and removal of scrap by coordinating with housekeeping.
Safety and Risk Management:
Adhere to safety protocols and utilize safety appliances during material handling.
Report and manage potential hazards during material storage and handling.
Material Handling & Distribution:
Process material receipts and issue materials to user departments.
Account for material receipts and ensure timely distribution to departments.
Stock Monitoring:
Regularly monitor and record environmental conditions for material storage.
Reconcile physical stock and update the system accordingly.
Loading and Offloading:
Use proper equipment for loading and unloading materials from trucks.
Collaboration:
Work with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other departments for operational support.
Assist in sampling and collaborate with other departments as required.
Operational Duties:
Ensure all duties are performed in compliance with safety guidelines.
Conduct maintenance on equipment and machinery as required.

Ensure 100% cGMP and SOP compliance during operations.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Adhere to the QMS system and complete necessary documentation.
Report any operational issues to the department head or manager.
Maintain discipline within the department.
Assist in training new employees as needed.
Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
Training and Safety:
All employees must undergo training at the start of employment, with periodic retraining as required.
Cross-training in various warehouse functions may be required.
Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines during operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
College certificate or degree preferred.
1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
Proficiency in English (Speaking/Reading/Writing).
Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment operation.
Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle materials (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to wear appropriate PPE, including respiratory devices.
Frequent bending and movement required.
