Job Summary of General Manager:
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a high-quality guest experience, and managing financial performance. The role includes leadership in training, staff engagement, and community involvement while maintaining operational excellence.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Manager:
- Lead and manage restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize profitability and achieve financial goals.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of restaurant staff.
- Ensure compliance with health codes, labor laws, safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Analyze Profit and Loss statements to drive cost-effective decision-making.
- Manage local restaurant marketing and community engagement initiatives.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and security procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications and Experience of General Manager:
- 4-5 years of management experience, with previous restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws, health codes, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with financial management, including Profit and Loss analysis.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in computer operations and restaurant management software.
