Job Description:
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain for the Surface & C5 Systems (S&C5S) Division is responsible for all aspects of strategic execution of the supply chain function within the business unit’s sites in Camden, NJ, Herndon, VA and Broussard, LA. This individual will report to the Maritime Sector Director of Supply Chain and will work in a matrixed organization supporting the S&C5S Division Vice President & General Manager. The role will provide significant strategic support to the Division’s business units to include oversight of local Supply Chain (program integration, supply chain strategy development & coordination of procurement, subcontracts, and material proposals). The individual is the primary point of contact for all Supply Chain related activities and initiatives within the S&C5S Division and will lead strategy, long term planning, compliance, large negotiations, savings, E3 Initiatives, Supply Chain metrics initiatives, and continuous improvement while collaborating with program management, operations, engineering, finance, and other support functions. The employee will be responsible for supply chain “Return to Green” initiatives while ensuring all activities are thoroughly communicated to the S&C5S VPGM as well as the executive leadership team. The individual will be responsible for developing a world-class supply chain team through staffing, training, and talent management initiatives while serving as a role model for integrity and inclusion. The individual will also maintain responsibility for succession planning, as well as organizational and talent development. Other critical activities include facilitating Supplier Development and leading the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies. This individual is responsible for developing the strategy, vision and driving performance of all supply chain functions resulting in superior cost and schedule performance leading to strong customer satisfaction.
